The Olive Branch

Why I started the blog: Growing up, I’ve always loved writing, and the idea of making a blog. This is my way to start making an impact in the world and start the next chapter of my life.

What the blog is about: Being a teen girl myself, this blog is geared toward teen girls. I want this to be a place you can go to be inspired and uplifted. A place of growth, where together we can become who God is calling us to be.

Christ Centered: I feel it is God’s will for me to do this blog, even if it only reaches to a few people. My hope is to spread God’s love to young girls in need of love, and glorify him through my writing. After all, I wouldn’t have the ability to do this if God hadn’t designed me with a love for writing and given me the resources to do so.

The name and what it means: The blog name comes from my name, Olivia which means “Olive” or “Olive tree”. An Olive branch is a symbolism of peace and hope, which is what I pray other girls feel after reading my blog.
